Common questions
How often does a landlord gas safety certificate need renewing?
Every twelve months. A Landlord Gas Safety Record (CP12) must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and a copy given to the tenant within 28 days.
How often is an EICR required for a rental property?
An Electrical Installation Condition Report is required at least every five years for privately rented homes in England, or sooner if the previous report recommends it.
What happens if the inspection finds a fault?
We send you the report with a quotation for the remedial work. Once approved we return to put it right and issue the updated certificate, so it is one company and one invoice.
